NYFF64 Seat Tracker · Policy revised October 3, 2026

An independent ticket organizer. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by Film at Lincoln Center. This extension organizes your own tickets and previews seat locations; it does not buy, reserve, sell, or release tickets.
When you connect your FLC account, the extension opens it in a separate tab and checks whether that tab is signed in. This check returns only a sign-in status. It does not import tickets or read authentication credentials. Ticket scanning still requires your action.
Only after you start a scan and grant FLC site access, the extension scans your upcoming events and selected ticket pages on purchase.filmlinc.org. It reads film titles, performance identifiers, showtimes, venues, seating categories, sections, rows, seat numbers, and ticket numbers. It uses ticket numbers to recognize tickets you have already imported, so repeat imports avoid duplicates, and saves each number with its ticket. Ticket numbers are displayed only for general-admission tickets.
Scan progress and parsed records are saved locally before you confirm an import, so interrupted work can be reviewed. You choose which records to add to your saved schedule. Scanning does not resume after reopening the dashboard without another action from you.
Checkout mode reads displayed film, showtime, venue and seat details from the FLC cart you open. Cart details stay in memory and are discarded when the overlay closes or the page navigates. They are never saved as purchased tickets. Login stays on FLC. The extension does not extract passwords, authentication cookies, payment information, QR codes, wallet links, order numbers, or contact details from FLC.
Wallet hyperlink extraction is currently disabled. A future separately user-started feasibility check must establish exact approved HTTPS hosts/paths, per-ticket association, session dependence and expiry before extraction is enabled. There is no QR scraping, replacement-pass generation or server-side FLC login/download. Wallet URLs must never appear in ordinary exports or private backups. Until verified, use your official FLC digital-ticket page.
Saved tickets, including their ticket numbers when available, ticket statuses, wanted showtimes, custom seat scores, and a randomly generated local identity key are kept in this extension's local browser storage. If you enter a hold name, sold-ticket name, buyer username, or phone number, that contact note is also saved locally and retained on repeat imports. It is used only to display your own ticket plans.
The fictional demo is optional, clearly labeled, and uses no account data. It can be loaded only into an empty schedule.
Local mode sends no ticket records or contact notes to the publisher. Optional Connect Film Exchange lets you explicitly select and review tickets, private ticket numbers, statuses, deliberate contact notes, wanted screenings and seat scores to copy into your existing Film Exchange account. The exact destination is https://film-exchange.vercel.app. Connecting or upgrading never uploads automatically. The website signs an account-bound request, the extension checks it and binds the transfer to the requesting website tab, and you approve the selected data before upload. Film Exchange stages the upload and presents another review before saving records to your organizer. The extension receives your account identifier and display name to show the destination. No Film Exchange login token is stored in the extension. Cloud transfer is currently unavailable.
Approved data passes through Film Exchange’s Vercel-hosted service and Supabase database. Staged payloads, ticket numbers and private notes are encrypted with server-managed keys; account access controls protect the other organizer fields. See the Film Exchange Privacy Policy for its cloud data practices. This is server-managed encryption, not end-to-end encryption. Cloud copies persist independently of local data and must be managed in Film Exchange. Disconnecting stops future transfer and clears transient buffers; it does not delete already saved or staged cloud data. Local records are retained after transfer. An encrypted local reference records import/account/receipt identifiers and payload digest for recovery; legacy records without IDs receive a separate local reference sidecar. Neither changes your ticket collections.
The extension has no analytics, advertising, background synchronization or automatic marketplace publication. Scripts and the public catalog snapshot are included with the extension. Personal sell/sold/want statuses do not list tickets for sale or change marketplace claims.
FLC pages are opened when you connect your account, scan tickets or preview checkout. Film images are requested from FLC's public image servers over HTTPS. Those servers receive normal network information such as your IP address and requested image. Image requests omit the referring page; they do not include a ticket-data payload. Clicking an official film link opens FLC. Those websites have their own privacy practices. The extension is not fully offline.
No user data is sold or used for advertising. NYFF64 Seat Tracker's use of information adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the ticket-organizing and seat-visualization features you request.
You control downloaded files and any sharing. Downloads are ordinary unencrypted files; keep private backups in a safe place; ordinary exports still reveal attendance and seat locations. Restoring a file requires review and confirmation and can replace local records.
Local records remain until you delete them or uninstall the extension. Canceling a scan stops navigation but retains partial results. Removing FLC site access stops future scans; it does not delete saved records. Use Manage data → Delete all local data in the dashboard to erase tickets, contact notes, wants, scores, the local identity key, scan details and organizer reference sidecars. This does not delete cloud copies from Film Exchange. A fresh empty scan marker prevents stale review tabs from saving deleted results. Delete downloaded files separately. These actions never change your FLC purchases.
In Film Exchange, archiving keeps the cloud record and its private details. Deleting an organizer record removes its private details and displayed content from active organizer storage and cancels pending imports that could restore deleted data. Minimal identifiers, keyed matching references, deletion markers and recovery receipts remain; they do not restore deleted content. Deleting cloud records does not erase local records or downloaded files.
An approved cloud upload has a 24-hour staging deadline; reconnecting before that deadline does not extend it. A cloud review lasts at most 30 minutes and cannot outlast the upload deadline. Expired data cannot be consumed or newly committed. Restarting an expired import clears the old staged payload and requires a fresh upload and review. Successful imports clear staged payloads and preview content, retaining minimal recovery receipts. Scheduled cleanup physically removes expired payloads asynchronously, not necessarily at the expiry instant.
Deleting your Film Exchange account blocks organizer access immediately. Organizer records and receipts become eligible for scheduled purge after the 30-day recovery window. Infrastructure backups may retain earlier copies under provider policies; no specific provider backup deletion deadline is promised. Backup restoration must reapply deletion records before organizer access resumes.
Local storage is restricted to trusted extension contexts and is not synchronized with your Google account by this extension. Saved values are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. A nonextractable encryption key is kept in this extension’s IndexedDB on the same device. Existing local records are migrated on opening the dashboard. This protects stored values from casual inspection, but is not password protection and cannot protect a compromised browser or operating system. Access to your browser profile or device can expose local records. HTTPS is used for FLC and public artwork requests.
